While it is possible to fish for Sturgeon from the shore, it is far more productive, and comfortable to fish for them from a boat. We run 19-26 foot jet boats, which allow us to travel the river to the best locations. Our heated, covered boats have comfortable seating and give you protection from the elements when needed. Once reaching a suitable fishing location the boat is anchored in position. The rods are placed in rod holders attached to the side of the boat and the bait sits suspended off the bottom. The sturgeon will pick up the scent of the bait, following the trail until it reaches the bait and decides to eat it.
